The objective of the Dogies is to raise matching funding for a grant that
will enable GREG to employ a Community Development Officer for the Gundagai
Shire. GREG acts an ‘umbrella’ organisation for all community organisations in
the Shire and plays an important role in coordinating the collaborative effort

Stars are in the running
for the highly coveted Dogies Trophies, designed by sculptor Peter Hey, who
had a studio in South Gundagai until recently and now works at Taralga. His
bronze
resin sculptures feature a quirky Aussie dog that will undoubtedly become
collectors’ items. These dog-themed awards light heartedly combine the
pizzazz of the entertainment industry with Gundagai’s world-famous icon, the Dog on
the Tuckerbox. |
